THE RULES

Trust me, we know that rules suck but every site has them. However, we promise to make it short and if you survive the rules, then we'll be more than glad to have you on the site. (: Just a little bit about the site before we bore you with the rules and then you decide not to join - both of us have ran plenty of sites and consider ourselves advanced role players so one liners are never acceptable. But, that also means that we understand not everyone can post 2000 words. We've all been there at some point. So, since we consider I WANNA KNOW YOUR NAME advanced, we have a small word count of 350 words and we do have a short app for you to fill out. Alright! Are you still with us? Good, here are just a few more quick short rules!

REGISTRATION

This is pretty basic stuff right here. On proboards, you have the ability to change your own name no matter what you register with. That doesn't mean you should register with something like nickjfangirl123432. Just your characters first name or your alias will do. However, before you post your app you must change your name to your characters FULL NAME in uppercase Ex. JANEY MARIA WELLS pretty simple right? Also, check the member list when it comes to choosing names. We really don't want five dozen Ashley's running around, or people choosing duplicate last names. It does tend to get annoying.

ROLEPLAYING

Like we stated before, we do have a 350 word count, but we like to follow the golden rule. Try to post the same amount as whoever your roleplaying with. If they shell out a 1500 word post that's beautiful and full of detail, you shouldn't reply with just 350 words. Now, we're not saying you must post as much as your partner but it's common courtesy. We really shouldn't have to say this considering this is an advanced site, but for the love of roleplaying do not godmod. If you don't know what this means, then you should probably click that pretty red X at the top of your screen. Another thing, this is a real life site so keep it...realistic. This means no Edward Cullen or Harry Potter. Not every girl can be pregnant or have a baby, and not everyone will be a twin. We won't put a restriction on the pregnancy and the twins yet, but if it gets too out of hand we will. And as much as everyone loves the Jonas brothers, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez, no one wants them over running the place when there are plenty of other play bys to choose from, so please refrain from making twins and triplets, okay?

GRAPHICS

We all love looking at pretty graphics so please have them. They're basically mandatory to have, and if you don't have some within a few days of being accepted, then we'll edit in some for you. Can't make them? That's fine. Head over to A Thousand Fireflies or even Caution to get some, or make a request thread right here on I WANNA KNOW YOUR NAME. Remember to credit too. If we see you using something with no credit, things won't end well. Our maximum size for avatars is 150x200 and our maximum size for signature's is 450 x 500. Going over by a little is completely fine, but if you end up stretching the board, then we'll pm you and ask you to resize.

OOC

Honestly, if you know Jess or Skye, you know that we are extremely outgoing and friendly so TALK TO US. We love meeting new people and having old friends around, so use that pretty little cbox over there. Oh, by the way, don't be rude in the cbox. This is common first grade knowledge right there. Not to mention, Caution and ATF have the no hate campaign going on, and as members and staff on those two sites, we completely follow that. So, be nice, alright? If you have a problem with a member, then come to us immediately and we will work out the issue. Also, absolutely no advertising except in the yellow pages section!
